Elmac Foods began its journey under the umbrella of the Thacker Group, founded by Shri Narayanji J. Thacker—a visionary in the trade of dry fruits and Indian spices. In 1975, the group took a significant step by acquiring Elmac, a European-origin food processing company, and transforming it into a pioneer in Indian pickles, chutneys, and sauces for global markets. Under the leadership of Shri Vinod N. Thacker, and with the contribution of successive generations, Elmac has grown into a globally respected name in the processed foods industry.
